Pripyat (Prypiat) was a small city of Kiev region (oblast) of Ukraine. Pripyat city is situated on Pripyat river near the border with Belarus. The Pripyat city was a home for people working at one of the largest in Europe nuclear power plants - Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
